Haha, back here are we?
That's supposed to be a friendly approachable laugh, btw :)
You've been here before, as I'm sure we both know. It reminds me of body dysmorphia, except it's about the quality of your work. Those tracks you referred to were really good, you know. You seem to just lack the ability to see it that way!
Have you noticed how every time you make a new NG account, it gets hundreds of fans? There's a reason for that. Your music is good, and it makes people want to hear more. Now, I know I can't magically fix the lack of low self-esteem. But I hope just hearing the facts will allow you think think a bit more rationally. By any objective measurement, your music is loved by many.
Perhaps it's a constant longing for freater opportunities and recognition that makes you feel this way. The truth is, that's difficult to achieve today, with so much competition. One needs to not only make great music, but be marketable and a businessperson, and all that. But insteead, you create fantastic stuff that's enjoyed by much of any community you post in. And more often than not, you compose your music around your feelings and beliefs. That's worth quite something too.
As for what direction, only you will know when you sit down and manage to compose again.
Hey! After a week, my schedule will be way lighter. At that point we should start chatting more often on discord again! Maybe that'll help a bit :D
With people like Phono and SoundChris respecting the quality of your work, you know it's good. So don't give up on it that easily, ok ;)?

Why not making the track with "fuk it all" emotion? Your old tracks were good as they were, I don't think nightcoring or anyhow altering them would be a good idea. Your music was always well-composed, with a definite idea and feeling. Maybe you've just squezzed everything from yourself into it? Probably having a break isn't that bad, and it's not the end but just giving yourself a rest? I'm sure you'll catch an inspiration soon enough. Just neglect this low-self-esteem mood. You are cool musician. A great one.
