sometimes the best course of action is to take a break. Brains are funny like that.

Thank you for the insightful comment.

Don't ever quit unless you really want to. Don't let others put your passion down

True that

@Gimmick @Bonnot More specifically, our brains continue working "in the background" even when we stop a task; it's why people suggest going outside for a walk or something when you're unable to progress in a particular task - because by "going for a walk" you're giving your brain time to consolidate, reorganize and work out what it's dealt with so far.

Basically, taking a break is like defragmenting your brain.

Good advice as always. How are you doing these days?

Glad to see you back!

Thanks. How have you been doing? Is your health better?

Awesome to see you coming back. Can't wait for more music! <3

Thank you :)

I've had my usual highs and lows, thanks for asking. I'm still struggling emotionally at times, but I'm working in the right direction at least.

Have you been okay? You got me all sad for a while that you were quitting music.

Glad you are okay. :)

I'm doing ok these days, enjoying all the free times. Though I've been freelancing in tech because I just feel like working keep my head steady. Little here and there. While the pandemic is depressing, it hasn't change much of my routine, minus works.

Doing fine, just tried to do a 'reddit detox' the last few days and I think I'm experiencing some withdrawal symptoms - I'm noticing that I've been spending my time rather recklessly/wastefully. Ah well, better now than later. How about you?

Reddit is addictive, just don't spend too much time on that place, it can be exhausting.

I'm doing ok I guess. Been trying to get back to music but at the same time I wanted to do other things like software development and hacking all that. Still don't know how to spend my free time well enough.

@Gimmick @Bonnot True, same here. I guess spending 5 to 15 minutes here and there can quickly add up when it comes to reddit - but on the plus side, if 5 minutes here and there adds up for reddit then it should also add up for other, more productive endeavours.
